Services

Speech & Language Therapy Services

  • Assessment and evaluation of speech and language skills
We test how well a child understands and uses language, and how clearly they speak.

  • Oral-motor skill assessment
Checking how the mouth (lips, tongue, jaw) works for speaking and sometimes eating.

  • Speech sound production therapy
Helps a child pronounce sounds correctly (for example, early sounds “k” “d,” or “p” clearly).

  • Expressive and receptive language intervention

    • Expressive: helping the child talk and express ideas

    • Receptive: helping the child understand what others say

  • Social communication skills
Teaching things like taking turns in conversation, making eye contact, understanding social cues, and interacting with others.

  • Augmentative or Alternative Communication (AAC) support if appropriate
If speaking is difficult, they may use tools like picture boards or speech devices to help the child communicate.

  • Parent/caregiver education and strategy coaching
Teaching you how to support your child’s communication skills at home.

Feeding Therapy Services

  • Assessment of feeding and oral motor skills
We evaluate how well a child eats looking at things like biting, chewing, swallowing, and overall eating habits.

  • Oral-motor skill assessment
A closer look at how the mouth works (lips, tongue, jaw) to see if there are any coordination or strength issues affecting eating.

  • Feeding therapy targeting chewing, swallowing safety, and food progression
Therapy sessions to help a child:

    • Chew properly

    • Swallow safely (to prevent choking or aspiration)

    • Gradually move from easier foods (like purees) to more complex textures

  • Sensory-based feeding interventions
Helps children who are sensitive to textures, smells, or tastes (for example, picky eaters or kids who refuse certain foods).

  • Parent/caregiver education and strategy coaching
Teaching parents how to support the child at home including what to do during meals, how to introduce new foods, and how to handle challenges.
